Things can be so close.

When you take the time to wake up and see what is going on around you the very thing that you have been searching for is right there. Your mind is open and capable of achieving anything. For some people they may have been told that they will never amount to anything or it would be impossible for them to do something. We all know that this statement is so false.

This type of negative energy is what you don’t need in your life. Be very mindful of who you keep around you that have thoughts like this. Always stay grounded in who you are and what it is that you believe you can do. Take time to explore it will be one of the most important things that you will do. Don’t take life for granted at all because it can disappear as fast as you can think about it. Don’t ever stop reaching for those dreams and goals. Keep reaching you will get there.

Why going to the dentist can be important.

I can remember as a young child never really going to the dentist that much or at all. I do know when I did go they would give you that tooth brush and dental floss. Not really knowing what to do with the dental floss or really understanding how important this dental floss would play a part in my life. I know I’m not alone when I say I hated going to the dentist and even to this day I hate it. Even though I don’t like it I realize how important it is to take care of your teeth just as I know how important it is to take care of your body. Your teeth play a role in your life that we seem to overshadow sometimes.

I’m here to let you know that you need to take the time and go to the dentist and get your annual checkups. When I got out of the military I neglected to keep going to the dentist regularly. It’s funny how once you do something regularly and then all of sudden when it’s not mandated you just say forget about it. Well that is just what I did. Like they say it takes a hard lesson for you to realize the bad choices you have made. So, anyway while re-committing myself to the dentist I realize that I should have been using an electric tooth brush all this time. You would be amazed at how much better your teeth look and feel when you are using it. Not to take anything away from a manual tooth brush of course but, it is so much better.

My current experience has shown me that you need to take the time to go to make sure you don’t have any underlining gum diseases. Because if you didn’t know they do exist and you can get them if you don’t take care of your teeth. You see people who loose their teeth or their mouth is a hot mess those are people who don’t go to the dentist. You teeth are part of who you are just as your mouth is part of who you are don’t lose them because of silly reasons. Take the time to get them cleaned, pulled, inserted and so forth trust me you will thank yourself for it. If you do what you need to do now it won’t be so expensive in the long run. Teach your kids this at a young age so they can understand this and know how important going to the dentist is. Have that talk with them and also have them watch videos on going to the dentist the good and the bad of it all.

Stand together

Just a couple of quick words in this time of distress. We need to grab each other and give a hug and a caring word. Let thee neighbor know you are there for them and you will support them. Let’s do this the best way that we can. Everyones protest won’t be the same but the meaning for it and what is wanted in the end is the same. It took so much time and effort to build up and get what little we have don’t destroy it and please don’t destroy your communities. Let’s work together.

The days seem much more relaxed and inspiring when you have a mission and know your goals. Increase the flow of positivity in your life.

The time is now.

This morning while reading my daily devotional this was the words for today. These words hit me like no other words had ever hit me before. It helped guide me through the day and to face some things I’ve been fighting with in my heart and my head.

“In life we experience highs and lows, good times and bad–and we must understand the God is God in the valley and God on the mountaintop. You may know the story of the poem “Footprints in the Sand.” The speaker wonders why, during the most difficult times of life, there was only one set of footprints in the sand. Why had God left her alone in those trials and times of trouble? The Lord replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints is when I carried you.”

We experience hard times as individuals and collectively (we’ll never forget 9/11’ for example),and many times people want to blame God. The truth is, the evil one puts such ideas into the hearts of men, but God is always there to help us get through the aftermath. Such times of tragedy provide a tremendous opportunity for Christians to show the love of God through words and deeds.

Satan tries to use hard times to separate us from God.but hard times can actually push us believers closer to God. The hardest challenges and deepest valleys force us to rely on God. During those struggles we realize He is always there and all we need. We learn in a new way that God’s grace is more than sufficient, that “we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us”.”
